Cheff Ranch

The Cheff Ranch is situated in the picture-perfect mountainside setting, overlooking the Mission Valley, were we run cattle and raise our Tennessee Walker studs and 80 head of horses/mules. Guests can choose to stay in one of our 2 cabins on the ranch, embark on an adventure to explore the surroundings either on horseback or by foot, or go for a dip in our lake. You do NOT need to be a guest in the cabins to reserve a horseback ride, just give us a call or email to schedule your ride!

For those days when taking it easy it the goal, you can breathe in some fresh mountain air and the scent of pine and fir trees as you relax on the lawn or your cabin porch.

If you are looking for a unique and private ranch for your wedding we have a lot to offer! Being located at the base of the mountains we have great views of the mountain tops and valley. You and your guests would have access to the ranch to enjoy explore on your big day!

We are centrally located in the Mission Valley and are a great home base for your adventures around Western Montana. We are a nature and history lover's paradise. We are 25 minutes away from the National Bison Range, 5 minutes away from the Ninepipes Museum of Early Montana, 10 minutes from McDonald Lake, 30 Minutes away from Flathead Lake (the largest freshwater lake in the Western United States, and just a short 2 hour drive from Glacier National Park and Hungry Horse Dam and Natural Hot Springs, all of which are well worth the trip. 

We are the last place at the base of the Mission Mountains and have an amazing view that overlooks the meadow and the valley below. You have high opportunities of seeing turkeys, deer and sometimes elk and bears around the property.
