ENJOY GUIDED HORSEBACK RIDING AT CHEFF RANCH
TAKE IN THE SPECTACULAR SIGHTS OF THE MISSION VALLEY
Always wanted to try horseback riding or on vacation and missing the saddle? Plan a visit to Cheff Ranch in Charlo, MT. We offer guided horseback rides through the gorgeous forests and open meadows of our ranch located at the base of the Mission Mountains. During your ride, you'll have the opportunity to see wildlife and enjoy a great view of the Mission Mountains and valley.
If you don't have riding experience, don't worry. Our guided nose-to-tail rides are great for beginners to experienced riders.
HORSEBACK RIDE TIMES:
10 AM and 1 PM ($140 PER RIDER)
Monday-Saturday, June 1-August 20, 2026.
To inquire about booking a horseback ride, text 406-250-2902 with your information:
1) Name
2) Day and time interested in ride
3) # of riders,
4) Age/Height/Weight of riders.
*You must have confirmation of a reserved ride for ride to be considered booked.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE DAY OF YOUR RIDE
DAILY RIDE TIMES:
2 HOUR RIDES - 10 AM, 1 PM ($140 PER RIDER)

We accept cash, debit/credit, or Venmo for payment.
*If you enjoy your ride please feel free to tip your guide!
*Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled ride time
*Weight limit 250 lbs
*Minimum age: 8 yrs
*Must be able bodied individual, horseback riding can be rigorous and you
need to be able to move you body in accordance with horseback riding requirements. If you cannot we do reserve the right to not let you participate in the ride for safety reasons.
Plan on arriving to the ranch 30 minutes before your scheduled ride. You will pull up and park in the large parking lot, and someone will greet you at the front door. We recommend wearing layers, long pants, close toed shoes and a hat. You are welcome to bring a water bottle and place it in the saddle bags for the ride.
Once you have finished payment and signed the waivers you can use the rest room before the ride.
The guides will greet you at the corral gate and introduce you to your horse and get you fitted to your saddle. If you would like a helmet we can provide one for you. The guide will walk you through on how to control your horse for the ride and answer any questions you might have!
We need to be heading onto the trial at the scheduled time so if you will be late you must call and let us know. If you are too late and miss the scheduled time, or do not arrive 30 minutes early you will loose your ride.
This is a guided walking trail ride. We do not go faster than a walk.
